Anniversary Card

Today, my husband and I had our 13 year dating anniversary.  We met while we were both in college during a summer internship working at a GM plant of all places!  Our first date was on June 13 (it was a Friday too and probably a full moon!).  What I thought was going to be a short, fun summer turned into a lifelong romance...  Sadly though, I didn't realize it was our anniversary until I asked my hubby what the date was (as I was analyzing our 7 month-old's feeding chart).  So I whipped up this card using the Cricut Graphically Speaking cartridge, placed 4 black brads at the bottom, and used the corner chomper in the upper right-hand corner. It took about 10 minutes!

Lightning McQueen

What 3-year old doesn't love the movie Cars! My 2.5 year old daughter cannot get enough of it - this card is for her cousin back in MI.

Father's Day Card

Happy Father's Day 2010! I made this card using Wild Card and Opposites Attract Cricut Cartridges.

Thinking of You

I made this card for someone who is going through a very difficult time. A handmade card can help someone know you really care... This card was made using:

Thinking of You Lettering - George and Basic Shapes (Pre-Made Design on Cartridge)

Cardstock - Simply Paper by Gartner Studios

Happy Wedding Anniversary!

This is a card that I just made for my husband. We just celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary... and even though we didn't actually celebrate the day of - since it's difficult to get a babysitter on a weeknight - we celebrated the prior weekend and enjoyed a steak dinner at Fleming's and saw the Proposal (with Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds), which made me laugh. It's hard to believe that just 4 years after being married, we'd have a beautiful daughter and new baby on the way! To make this card, I used:

Neighbor's 1st Birthday Party

My neighbor's son just had his 1st birthday party. The boat is from the New Arrival Cricut Cartridge and I used Cricut Design Studio to weld the lettering together. The font is from the Cricut Sans Serif Solutions Cartridge. I like the simplicity and legibility of that font.

A Baby Shower

This is one of my first handmade cards using my new Cricut Personal Electronic Cutting Machine. I used the New Arrival Cricut Cartridge for the duck and the "Little One" wording. The light blue card stock is from Gartner Studios Simply Paper from Michael's.
